In 2017, she remembered who she was… and everything changed. After a 15-year hiatus, Catherine Walling picked up a pencil and started sketching again. After years of living in the confines of societal expectations, self-doubt, and anxiety, she embraced her art like a long-lost friend.

Catherine is a self-taught artist living in Schenectady, New York. She works with watercolor, acrylic, pen and ink, and digital media. She is an unrealized archeologist, tattoo aficionado, feminist, cat lover, triathlete, accomplished coffee drinker, and lifelong devotee of The Beatles. These passions come together to influence her diverse style and portfolio. Her work includes but is not limited to Illustration, surrealism, paintings, tattoo flash sheets, digital art, and collage. She hopes to inspire you to pursue your passions, believe in yourself, and always do what makes you happy regardless of what anyone thinks.

When Catherine is not creating art, you can find her riding her bike, swimming, spending time with her husband, their dog, and two cats in Upstate New York. She believes life is best spent drinking coffee, traveling, learning, listening to good music, and always staying true to yourself.
